This one is a tough one to answer. Although I don’t want to get 1’s or 2’s, I tried my best to be as fair as I could with my scores on the days that were bad. However I will say that the process of tracking all these scores and tracking my happiness had an overall positive effect on my scores. It’s hard to remove the bias completely, but at the same time the point of this project was to get better at managing my mental health. I didn’t want to get too technical with the scores and make the process too complex, I think that defeats the purpose. This was just an alternative way for me track my progress as opposed to journaling every day.
